The Yokogawa transmitter features 40 self-diagnostic checks to ensure that everything inside the transmitter is working properly. However, all transmitters on the market have a level self-diagnostic check. However, Yokogawa has two features that its competitors don't. First, the transmitter uses patented reverse check technology to reverse check all calculations in real time. Secondly, the DPharp sensor is an active sensor. This means that even if the process does not change, the sensor will constantly provide a signal. If the sensor's signal is lost, the transmitter knows there is a problem.
