The ALTAIR 4XR can also provide real-time incident awareness to team members, supervisors, safety managers and others when paired with the MSA ALTAIR Connect app via a Bluetooth® wireless connection.

Bluetooth wireless is added to connect gas detectors to other portable Android smart devices (phones, tablets). Android smart devices can receive real-time gas detection readings, change the Settings of gas detector, receive alarm information.
